RSF Sign in the Falls

This photograph from the Falls Road area of Belfast shows a sign from the RSF (Republican Sinn Féin) that reads “Brits Out Not Sell Out, Join RSF”. RSF is a group that split off from Sinn Féin and other republican groups in 1986. The group opposes the Anglo-Irish Treaty and the Good Friday Agreement. RSF does not recognise the legitimacy of the parliaments of Northern Ireland (Stormont) or the Republic of Ireland (Leinster House), but members do take seats when elected to local governments on either side of the border.
