Glasgow in Black and White

Glasgow is a city that looks perfect in black and white. The Buildings are dramatic and the overcast sky leads to the perfect greyscale image. 
 

St. Mungo's Cathedral from the Necropolis

This is a view of the Cathedral of Saint Mungo, also known as the High Kirk of Glasgow, from the side of the Necropolis. 
 

Inside St. Mungo's

The Cathedral was dedicated in 1136 and is named after the patron saint of Glasgow. It was originally a Catholic church and managed to survive the Scottish Reformation intact. 
 

Kelvingrove

The Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is located in the West side of Glasgow along the banks of the River Kelvin. This photograph was taken from Gilmorehill. 
 

University of Glasgow

The University of Glasgow is the fourth oldest university in the English speaking world. The University played a significant part during the Scottish Enlightenment.
