This set was taken in the middle of December across East Lothian which is Southeast of Edinburgh. 

Outside Pencaitland Village

I was walking across East Lothian from Pencaitland, headed south. I managed to walk for 10 minutes before it started to rain, then it stopped and the sun came out.
 

On the Road to Glenkinchie

My walk across East Lothian took me to the Glenkinchie Distillery. 
 

Sunshine on the East Lothian Lowlands

I took the long road back to Pencaitland as the sun was going down. When I was back in the States, most people thought I took these photos in the Midwestern United States.  I can see the similarity, but they feel nothing alike. The hedgerows are a dead give away that these were not taken in ...
